This one-time bonus offer is valid only for first-time United MileagePlus Visa Card members with new accounts. If is not open for at least six months, United and Chase reserve the right to deduct the bonus miles from your MileagePlus account.
Earning miles: You will earn 1 mile for each $1 of net purchases. You will earn an additional 1 mile for each $1 of net purchases (for a total of 2 miles) made directly from United (excluding purchases made on board). As a one-time bonus each Calendar Year, once you reach $25,000 or more in net purchases you will receive 10,000 bonus miles. (For your first year as a Cardmember, “Calendar Year” means the period beginning with your enrollment date through December 31 of that same year.) Please allow 4–6 weeks after the billing cycle in which you qualify for bonus miles to post to your MileagePlus account. There is no maximum number of miles that you can accumulate in the program. You do not earn miles on balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency and money orders, any checks that are used to access , overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of . Priority boarding: MileagePlus Explorer Card members will be granted boarding access to the plane after the boarding of Premier members and passengers with Premier AccessSM designations or passengers requiring special assistance, but before general boarding of the remaining passengers. Benefits apply to the primary Cardmember on the Credit Card account and anyone traveling on the same reservation. Benefits are available as long as the Credit Card account is open and not in default. Upon cancellation of the Credit Card account, all benefits will be canceled. Chase is not responsible for the provision of or failure to provide the stated benefits.
United Club passes: You will receive two (2) United Club passes after account opening and each Anniversary. ("Anniversary" is the date that is 12 months after your enrollment date, and the same date each 12 months thereafter.) Please allow 8–10 weeks after account opening for delivery of United Club passes. Please allow 2–4 weeks from your Anniversary each year for delivery. Valid when presented at any United Club location. Each pass is valid for one (1) guest for one (1) visit. United Club representatives will retain this certificate. No cash value. Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. All United Club membership guidelines apply. Chase is not responsible for fulfillment of United Club passes.
Miles don't expire: Your miles will not expire as long as there is activity on your Credit Card account, including paying your annual membership fee, and the Credit Card account is open and not in default. Upon cancellation of your Credit Card account, your miles will expire according to the MileagePlus program rules.
Seat availability: No limitations, restrictions or blackout dates on MileagePlus Standard Awards.
Authorized User: As the Primary Cardmember, you will be liable for all account balances. Your Authorized User will not have financial responsibility for the account. For Authorized User, this account will be reported to the credit reporting agencies as an Authorized User’s account. This could potentially impact Authorized User’s credit score. All correspondence including statements and notifications will be sent to the address listed on the account.
United MileagePlus program information: Miles accrued and awards issued are subject to the rules of the United MileagePlus program. United, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products and services of other participating companies or partners. Please allow 6–8 weeks after completed qualifying activity for bonus miles to be posted to your MileagePlus account. Bonus miles and miles earned through non-flight activity do not count toward Premier status. Bonus mile offers are subject to change without notice. United MileagePlus Visa Card program information: Individuals whose requests for this offer are not approved will not be enrolled in MileagePlus through this request, although existing MileagePlus members will remain enrolled in MileagePlus. Authorized users will not be enrolled in MileagePlus as a result of this request. MileagePlus miles awarded through the use of the authorized user’s card will only be credited to the primary Cardmember’s account. If a Cardmember’s membership in United’s MileagePlus program is terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions of that Program, the Cardmember will no longer be eligible for or receive any MileagePlus miles for purchases using the United MileagePlus Card. Chase’s sole obligation concerning the award and redemption of miles shall be to make a valid request to United to award miles to the Cardmember’s associated MileagePlus account. Chase disclaims liability or responsibility for United’s failure to award or redeem miles to the Cardmember’s associated MileagePlus account after Chase has met its obligations to United in connection with such a request.
